My name is Georgie Duffield. I'm 29 and I'm an account director at Tank, a digital marketing and PR agency. I'm currently training for my seventh marathon, which will be Amsterdam in October.
What inspired you to give Caffeine Bullet a try? Why did you feel like you needed a caffeine boost?
My boyfriend recommended Caffeine Bullets as he'd trained for Brighton marathon with them.
I've always run with energy gels over the longer distances, but didn't feel like I needed a gel for a 5K or 10K race. If I ran a race badly (which has been known!), it was always because my pace started too quick and then dropped off in the final mile or two. I thought it was worth giving Caffeine Bullet a go.
How did you find the taste and ease of use of our products? What do you typically use them for and why do you prefer them to alternative products?
Caffeine Bullets are super easy to chew during a race and I'll definitely be using them again when I run the Robin Hood Half and Amsterdam Marathon. I'll also build them into my training, as they're much nicer than energy gels, which I would typically only use on a run longer than 12 miles.
What PBs have Caffeine Bullet helped you set (what was your previous PB and what is it now?)
I ran a half marathon PB of 1:33 in February, and hit a new marathon PB of 3:23 a couple of months later. Over the summer I've been focused on shorter distances, hitting new 5K and 10K PBs of 19:44 and 41:13.
I recently won the Nottinghamshire Amateur Athletics Association (AAA) Ladies 10K Country Championships race, in a time of 41:41. I knew it would be a challenge as the course was hilly and it was very hot, but Caffeine Bullets definitely made a difference.
How has Caffeine Bullet played a part in your journey to smash your personal bests? For those considering trying Caffeine Bullet, what advice would you share?
Definitely worth trying, especially if you're going for a PB!
