Hello, fellow caffeine achievers! My name is Jesse Armstrong, aged 60, and I am a lifelong fan of endurance sports.
What inspired you to give Caffeine Bullet a try? Why did you feel like you needed a caffeine boost?
I recently found myself tiring more quickly than before and assumed it was a side effect of living this long.
Turns out, I was actually suffering from heart disease, which presented as a myocardial infarction during a lecture on sociological theory.
After recovering, my cardiologist recommended gentle cardiovascular exercise. I took up cycling, and Caffeine Bullet meets my needs perfectly—especially since I can chew half of a 'chocolit' halfway through my ride!
How did you find the taste and ease of use of our products? What do you typically use them for, and why do you prefer them to alternative products?
I love the orange chocolate chews! They’re easier on my system than caffeine-infused electrolytes and incredibly convenient. When my home was threatened by a fire (a common occurrence here in California), I made sure to pack my documents, my dog, my bicycle, and my bag of Bullets!
My first rides after leaving the hospital were short walks around the block. I slowly progressed to longer strolls, then rides, and finally Century rides (100 miles). The Bullets—used in moderation—have been my constant companion. Getting home without needing the rest of the day in bed is my victory.
How has Caffeine Bullet played a part in your journey to smash your personal bests? How did it make you feel to smash your personal best?
For me, just getting out there and enjoying 20 or 30km on my bike qualifies as a PB now. The Bullets are a brilliant addition to my cardio workouts, and I’m just grateful to still be riding year-round.
