Lisa Gribbin, Mum of 4 & company director, mediocre runner, age 47.
What inspired you to give Caffeine Bullet a try? Why did you feel like you needed a caffeine boost?
The other half bought me a running advent calendar and behind 1 door were 3 Ginger Roars.
I’m always walking by the end of long runs and marathons and had a 20 mile race so decided, why not give them a go.
So I chewed away at mile 16 and then boom, got the boost I needed, no walking at all and didn’t feel sick taking them in fact, I sped up. I actually sped up.
I loved my fast finish and have now purchased a big bag of Roars.
How did you find the taste and ease of use of our products? What do you typically use them for and why do you prefer them to alternative products?
Normally I'd take a pro plus tablet, but I took it from the start of a marathon, not later on. So used the Ginger Roars as directed by you guys. Amazing.
The packet is a wee bit fiddly to open when you’re a sweaty mess running along but I'll open them before my run next time ready.
Not a fan of ginger so I was worried I wouldn’t like the taste but, actually, it was fine and wish I'd tried them sooner.
How has Caffeine Bullet played a part in your journey to smash your personal bests?
Not yet but, I’ve downloaded your marathon training plan for Berlin and will be using the Roars to go for my PB there.
For those considering trying Caffeine Bullet, what advice would you share?
Follow the instructions and chew away. They really do help push you through those last miles. (Have given my running buddy a couple to try)
What PBs have Caffeine Bullet helped you set (what was your previous PB and what is it now?)
My PB is Chicago Marathon at 4.44.59. I’d love to get 4.29.59 in Berlin.
