What inspired you to give Caffeine Bullet a try?
Initially hearing the Bad Boy Running podcast and then hearing the funny stories/reviews of the product.
Why did you feel like you needed a caffeine boost?
I was intrigued and the gels I was using for that final boost were not agreeing with me, leading to regular post race sharts!
How did you find the taste and ease of use of our products? What do you typically use them for and why do you prefer them to alternative products?
I use the standard Caffeine Bullets, not yet tried Ginger Roars.
I typically use them on the last 10 miles of a race and a max of 2 during these last few.
They are great as chewing leaves them in my mouth longer leading to a slower stomach shock. Also can leave these in my cheek when running to slowly dissolve. Much better than gels for these reasons and actually minty fresh!
I’m not sure how scientific it is but these actually make it less painful in those last few miles of an ultra.
How has Caffeine Bullet played a part in your journey to smash your personal bests?
On shorter runs I have grabbed a few PBs and the longer runs they give me the legs to get over the line in style rather than like a slug lol. Fastest 50miler and no brown pants…I’ll take that as a result
For those considering trying Caffeine Bullet, what advice would you share?
Take them strategically and not too many, test them out on training runs, make sure you are okay with caffeine first and always carry a spare pair of pants.
What PBs have Caffeine Bullet helped you set (what was your previous PB and what is it now?)
London Half. Previous was 1.53 and I pulled a 1.45 with an awesome finish... albeit I was blowing out ma ass!
